I Do Not Permit a Woman to Teach or to Have Authority Over a Man
What was Paul really talking about? Is it not true that in the Kingdom of God "there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28
Let's look at 1 Timothy 2:11 & 12 and understand what Paul was referring to.
1 Timothy 2:11 & 12 "Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence."
Paul was addressing a cultural issue at the church in Ephesus. The women that were unleaded were disorderly and disruptive, and Paul had to address their behavior.
When Paul said, "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man", he was not saying every woman from every church must not teach or have authority over a man, or Paul would not have praised the many women who did!

Can A Woman Be A Leader In the Church?
A woman can be submissive to her husband, yet still in charge in her God given ministry.
Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
In the Kingdom of God there is no division based on male nor female for we are one in Christ. He shows no partiality.
Deuteronomy 10:17 “For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.”
Jesus was submissive to the Father, yet He was still in charge here on earth for they are one.
A wife can be submissive to her husband at home, yet in charge in her God given assignment.
